What is Message In The Air?

This is a live SMS dedication service dedicated for your wedding banquet. It allows your wedding guests to send their greetings to you by using SMS. The SMS messages that were sent to a specific local handphone number will be animated on the projector screen immediately. The messages will be shown in our slideshow interface.

Any charges for sending the SMS?

All SMS messages should be sent to a local 019 number. Therefore no special charges and only local SMS charges apply. This is also stated clearly on the big-screen as well as on the instruction cards.

How will the guests know about the phone number?

The phone number will always be shown on top of the slideshow interface. Besides, they can refer to the instruction cards that are placed on the tables.

Can the guests send SMS in chinese language?

Yes, both english and chinese languages are supported, with no length restrictions.

Are the messages filtered?

Yes, our dedicated staff will ensure all SMS messages are double-checked and filtered before they appear on screen.

How long is the SMS dedication session?

3 hours, for example if the SMS dedication service starts at 730pm, it will end at 1030pm.

Payment and Order

How do I pay for this service?

A down payment of RM100 is required for the booking of this service. This will be done online via paypal. The remaining amount should be paid in cash on the day itself, at the end of the service.

Setting Up and Co-ordination

Do you need to co-ordinate with any of the hotel/restaurant staff for the usage of the big screen?

Yes we do need a few standard items. Please communicate clearly with your hotel/restaurant to ensure that the followings are prepared:

• Projecting equipments that allows video ouput from our laptop.
• A table with access to a power-point, that allows us to place our laptop and connect to the AV system of the hotel or restaurant.
• A chair (for our staff :D) to access the laptop throughout the 3-hour-session.

Can your system be paused in order to play our video montage?

Yes, definitely. We can pause our system while any new incoming SMS messages will still be collected in the background. You can switch the projector source to show something else on the screen at any point of time as you wish. No SMS will be lost.

Can we play our video montage on your laptop?

This is NOT recommended, to ensure any unfortunate event such as video codec not found etc. It is recommended to play your video montage on the hotel's system directly. Otherwise, play it using your own laptop.
